LO was sick this week and I used that as an excuse to keep someone off. I figure I can just say that even even he is not sick!

Just say, "please don't touch my baby." You don't have to give a reason, and if they get offended, don't worry about it.

I've only encountered it a few times and it's always been so quick I didn't have time to react, but if a stranger or someone you don't know well is about to touch your baby, is there a more polite way to tell them to back off than pulling away and smacking their hand? I know they are the rude ones trying to touch a strangers baby but still.
