Technically, if you have 3 in a row, it is considered recurrent pregnancy loss, but most doctors will start to investigate after two. It is a type of infertility. But we lost our first two to miscarriages, at 6 weeks and ~9 weeks.</p> <p>It was a pretty painful journey... you can read the details <a href="http://www.hellobee.com/the-journey-to-charlie/">here</a> if you're interested. Anyway, it struck me rereading the posts that we didn't have a word or phrase at the time to describe our journey. It wasn't quite infertility... although emotionally it was a similar in ways. And it didn't feel like the word "miscarriages" really described our journey either.</p> <p>Anyway, I've been thinking about this lately and thought I'd ask you guys here. Is there a word or phrase for "being able to get pregnant, but having repeated miscarriages"? </p>
