DD is 15 weeks, and I've noticed some changes in her sleep patterns. She's still napping like a champion, but she gets kind of ridiculous at night. She'll fall asleep at 8, but at 10pm, she is ready to either, a) party, or b) exorcise a demon with her yells. I'm kind of puzzled by the behavior, as she's usually quite narcoleptic. I blame it on the regression.

I lost the will to live when C turned 4 months old. HORRIBLE SLEEP. We turned the corner for about a week last week, and then this week he's up to his old tricks. I don't even know anymore.

I hope LO gets it together and starts sleeping again for you soon!

I've been unable to pinpoint a growth spurt or a regression since she was about six weeks - we just seem to cycle between good sleep and bad sleep every few weeks.

Regression. R was the same thing, STTN, got a cold, and it all went down hill. After her cold got better, her sleep got worse. Hugs!

I'm still in the three month spurt and it's killing me. I think I have anion in her mouth for 12 out of 24 hours. She was up half the night nursing or whining.

Regression! It sucks. Was he used to nursing to sleep before? He might have become more dependent on that now. He might also be more distracted during the day and therefore taking in fewer calories during the day, making up for it at night.

@Bookish: The night sleep is killing me! His tooth broke through the gum, but isn't all the way up yet. I keep hoping that he will sleep again when the tooth is all the way in.

I've been wondering the same thing! Her sleep has been ok, but I just had to up her daycare bottles from 4 to 5 oz because she was hungry all day! She's been a whiny food monster lately :/

LO used to be a wonderful sleeper. We haven't had middle-of-the-night feeds in a long time. Occasionally, he would wake up and need to be rocked back to sleep, but it was rare.

Last week he got a cold and, understandably, his sleep turned to shit. I assumed (hoped!) my awesome sleeper would return when he felt better.

Well, he hasn't. Every night for 2 weeks he has been up 2-4 times a night. I know it could be from teething or the sleep regression but I can't just rock/bounce him to sleep. He's been demanding 1:30am and 5:30am feeds. Prior to this, he'd sleep 8:30-7:30 without needing to eat.

Why the sudden need to eat at night? Could it be a growth spurt or is this common regression/teething behavior?
