I had to take my son to the ER when he was younger and I know exactly how you feel. There were so many sick people and my son (who was only 3 months old at the time) looked so fragile and frail. I wanted to get the heck out of there! Just keep your LO covered and away from others. Red dots around it, dry skin, hot to touch and she's batting at it.</p> <p>Our family doctor couldn't fit her in until Monday, I'm not messing around with it and got her to walk-in clinic.</p> <p>Listening to people hack, check-in w/ reception and say "bad cough", "flu like symptoms" and then they sit down beside you....</p> <p>If there was ever a time where motherly, protective instincts were to kick in! I'm eyeing people down, keeping her covered, and just praying we get in and out of here asap!!!</p> <p>Surely there are worse things (immunizations next week perhaps!) but I'm not loving life right now! </p>
