When I get them, I just get a very sore area of my breast. Nursing, massaging and a hot compress (try running a clean diaper under hot water - it holds the heat very well) will help! Nursing is the key for me. I had one and the ladies on here had such good advice on getting rid of it. I finally released it in the shower with compression (pushing towards the nipple) and gently scraping the nipple with my fingernail to dislodge the tiny blockage.
