There is a large crack in one of the yellow pieces! I bet that was the hindrance.

Yes, I was gonna suggest new membranes like @grizz: did above! And doublecheck flange size for the right fit.

I would wait and see how your next session goes...then check your pump parts! Good luck! :-)

I had the same thing happen to me- I replaced the membranes and got smaller flanges (my chest has gone down a bit since my initial engorgement after having DS) and I am back to pumping my usual amount!

Maybe you need new membranes? I had a tiny rip in one of mine and was getting almost nothing on that side!

I have a PISA and generally pump for 20 minutes and get 5oz. Today I've been pumping for nearly an hour and barely have 4oz. I don't feel empty! If I do compressions, more comes out but the pump, on the highest suction, doesn't seem to be getting it out. I've tried hitting the letdown button throughout, which helps a little.

I don't feel any pain in my breasts, they're not hot, red, or sore. I'm feeling exhausted but I really don't think it's mastitis or a plugged duct or anything like that. But my pump isn't making funny noises or anything like that. It seems like its functioning normally but it's really taking forever!

What the heck is going on??
