@LBee: Thank you..... This is basically what I've been thinking too but was just hoping that I was wrong and that this would be the cycle where my body just magically got everything to work properly. Last cycle was the first time I ovulated, so I was thinking that first I'd hope that my ovulation would fix itself and then we could worry about lining/progesterone levels adequate enough to sustain a pregnancy. Worry about the ability to get pregnant before I start worrying about the ability to stay pregnant.

It's just so hard to be patient and do nothing when I know that I'm running against the clock (the window to get pregnant before surgery).

Thanks for listening!

@YYCBee: I actually think that does show ovulation, but I think your lining isn't getting particularly thick as reflected by the period. I know it sucks, but I'm not surprised your doctor won't talk to you until at least 6 months, that's the norm. You are technically ovulating, it's just really late in your cycle (it seems) and I don't think your lining is thick enough to sustain pregnancy. I would re-call her office and ask how long you should continue to wait for ovulation / a subsequent period before requesting Provera (a medicine that induces period) and move on.

@LBee: I (unfortunately) agree. I think that I was just hopeful this cycle because last cycle I had one day of EWCM and then my temp spiked and then I got that little period two weeks later. So I thought "maybe now my body has finally figured it out!".

I went to my Doc in November and she was very dismissive, saying that she won't even consider testing anything or doing anything until we had been trying for 6 months (I have another unrelated medical condition that causes me to need surgery every 17-21 months so that's why it's 6 months and not a year). When I stressed to her that I didn't think I was even ovulating so getting pregnant wasn't even the real issue she just said to wait.

I guess it's time to go back and push harder.

@YYCBee: From looking at your previous posts, I would think your body is still adjusting to getting off birth control. You definitely haven't ovulated this cycle and I personally would have side-eyed a positive / negative with a 3 hour split.

I would reach out to your OBGYN. What did your chart look like last cycle? I'm inclined to say it was probably anovulatory as I don't think a 2 day period (especially a light one) is indicative of having a proper lining shedding and is more indicative of break through bleeding.

Well, I'm not sure what happened. I was so sure that I'd ovulate but now here's my chart and no such luck :bummed:

Hi all!
I had a wonky OPK, but because I've been getting stark negatives lately I dumped the urine before this showed up so I couldn't test again. When I tested again 3 hours later I got a negative.

Would you say this is positive?
I also had cramping, do you think it's correlated?

Thanks!
