We just went to the Dr. yesterday instead if Saturday. He seemed better Sat but had more issues Sunday. The Dr. said it was hives, probably caused by a virus. I had a chemical type burn like that once. It went away wen I washed it all off. Hope you find an answer! Our LO had something similar when we tried a different brand of nighttime diapers... that said, his spread further on his body and we took him to the doctor. They couldn't figure out what was causing it, recommended benadryl, and it went away after a couple days and hasn't been back. I can't really see the welt but could it be a reaction to a bug bite? My LO had an allergic rash reaction to avocados and the rash was more splotchy than that seems to be. But I'm sure there are various sorts of rashes. It really freaked me out because it was her first major rash but then I realized that if she wasn't having respiratory issues she was fine. I am on my way to get Benadryl because we didn't have any. He had a little bit of a different formula but it has been mixed with his regular formula for a few days now. He did have bananas today but has had them 3-4 times before.
