A friend of mine loved them and would buy enough at easter to last her the whole year until they came out again (before they made Halloween peeps). </p> <p>If you do buy them now, I would NOT freeze them. I don't think that would be good for the marshmellow inside. Instead, I would keep them in the sealed packaging but also place them in an airtight container (tupperware or zip lock bag). Having them double sealed should help keep them fresh. You can also freeze them and I think they last something like 10 years in the freezer. You can even resoften them when they are hard in the microwave.
