Yes! The worst hangover of your life is how I describe it. Feeling awful but not having the comfort of knowing you'll feel better by the afternoon.

My morning sickness started as a nervous/stressed feeling in my stomach where I had no appetite and I was struggling with frequent bathroom trips if you know what I mean. :meh: It didn't turn into real nausea and vomiting until 7 or 8 weeks. I think it's different for everyone, so if you feel off, that's probsbly what it is. Good luck!

Yes, a hangover, as PPs have mentioned, is the perfect way to describe it.

My MS started with a little carsickness. Then progressed to the hungover feeling. Then progressed to constant nausea, food aversions, and throwing up nightly. I hope yours isn't that bad!

When I was really sick in the first tri, riding in the car was a huge trigger for nausea. I basically could only handle it if I was driving.

@simplyfelicity: my whole first trimester I basically felt hungover. I didn't have terrible MS but just felt crappy. It was definitely worse with certain motions, like on a bumpy train ride, and landing on a plain ride.

When my midwife asked how I was feeling at my first appt and I said nauseous and hungover, she smiles big and said "that's a great sign!" I hope it is a great sign for you.

Sounds like how I felt most of the first tri. Slightly queasy, tired, dizzy, and in general hungover!

@blackbird: That's a great example! I feel hung over...super sluggish, gross feeling, vague lightheadedness, just want to lay on the couch etc. I thought it would feel more like the flu or something.

Yup! Sounds like your pregnancy is already starting off promising. My friend who is now 28 weeks didn't feel symptoms much with her two losses but felt a ton with this current one. Everything crossed for you love!!! I'm so sorry this has been so hard for you.

Ugh I have the worst motion sickness sensitivity when I am pregnant. Even when I feel normal during pregnanxy and the all day nausea is gone, I still get really carsick.

That's kinda what I felt like. I think it is different for everyone, but it was definitely worse for me when driving sometimes. I had more of a dull all day nausea that got worse at times or got a little better at others.

@simplyfelicity: it sounds like it could be. I think the car can be a trigger. There are some mornings that driving to work still make me feel nasty. As much as MS sucks, I really hope that's what it is

Even though this is my third pregnancy, I have never felt morning sickness. Maybe a sensitive stomach before but I think it was just due to nerves. I am only 5 weeks 4 days but I have been getting motion sickness when I am in the car and then I can't shake it for several hours. I don't think it's nerves this time because I would feel sick after thinking about it before (I really wanted to feel morning sickness as a sign that everything was ok) and now it's catching me by surprise. I feel sick, woozy and just blah...I know no one can really answer this for me, but does this sound like the beginning of morning sickness?
