P.S. I think she actually gets angry at me when I drop her off. She gave me the cold shoulder on Tuesday when she walked into her room. Worst feeling ever.

@MrsHotDog: My son was in daycare from 5-14 months when I worked - around 11 months he started crying at drop offs periodically and he was sooo used to it. So don't feel bad! Just think that she's getting used to being away from you guys now as opposed to another year or so in pre school. It would probably be worse then.

I'd give it a few weeks, especially if she's never done something like this before.

How long has she been going? It's probably going to take a week or two to get her used to going and being on a different schedule, and this might be her way of dealing with the change.

My daughter (two years old) just started Children's Day Out last week and life has become so stressful. She is regressing back to how she acted when my second was born (four months ago) and is super clingy. She won't even let my husband pick her up out of the high chair. She only wants me to do every thing for her - like pick her up out of the bath tub. I am a SAHM and this is her first time to go to any type of outside child care but she has always done very well when it comes to leaving her at Grandma's or with a babysitter. Drop offs are horrible but she seems to calm down within a few minutes of being there but it is the way she is now acting at home that concerns me. Is this normal? How long before this stops? I am considering taking her out of MDO if it keeps up much longer. Any advice would be great!
