@polkadots: One-sided pain and constant pain (with or without bleeding) are two good reasons to call your Doc . . . if you get any pushback--I doubt that you would--I would just show up to L&D. Always better to be safe!

I get what sound like similar pains (they feel like a side stich in my lower abdomen) every once in awhile starting around 23 weeks or so, if I've been walking a lot or too fast. I asked my dr and she said it was normal as long as it didn't feel like contractions. For me, it goes away if I slow down, take lots of deep breaths, and drink lots of water. I almost always carry water on me now just in case.

@MamaMoose: its a constant pain (but only when walking) , like a really bad side ache. Which I get that side aches aren't a big deal but after only 2 blocks of just walking? I usually just slow down to like a 90 year old pace but sometimes really question if I'm going to make it to the end of my walk or if I should have someone pick me up.

*side note I have also been having more pressure/pain in the pelvis this time around. There has never been any concern about the baby or myself at my previous appointments. I've always just thought It was because I'm carrying this baby differently than my first.

I would definitely call! And I would slow down even further with the walking . . . lots of water, rest up, and call your OB.

Is it contractions, or just a constant pain? Either way, I think it's worth a call to your doctor just for piece of mind.

I'm 25 weeks pregnant and can't walk more than two blocks without being in pretty intense pain in the stomach area. I exercised on a regular basis until 20ish weeks and have slowed down quite a bit since then due to the pain. I still try to walk and do some exercising at home.

With my first pregnancy I gained quite a bit more weight by this time, but felt great and walked a lot until 39 weeks. This pregnancy I've been really good with weight gain but hurt soooo much more.
