@jennylynn: Are there other differences in their bedtime ritual? Maybe they're dressing her more warmly or setting the temperature higher or feeding her more milk (maybe she gets more out of a pumped bottle than she does when she BFs)... could be maybe something like that?

@mrbee: I thought that at first too, except I have no problems getting her to sleep at night initially, or for naps. It's just the waking up before staying asleep for the night. I've tried just going in and patting her tummy but that makes her absolutely hysterical. She won't calm down until I pick her up, and sometimes it takes quite a bit of cuddling to get her to relax. DH can usually soothe her if I send him in, unless she sees me that is...

@jennylynn: I think it's pretty common for babies to get distracted by the smell of mom/bm? On weekends, I'm able to get Olive down for naps consistently while Mrs. Bee struggles (she's also bfing).

After Olive is weaned though, I'm sure we'll both be able to get her down easily!

LO is 9 months old and since around 8 months old I've been having problems getting her down at night. She's been getting a few teeth recently so at first I thought that's what was going on. I've started noticing though that it seems to happen most often on the days I'm home to do bedtime. I work 10a-10p 3 days a week so one of our moms does bedtime on those nights while we are working. They rarely have an issue getting her to asleep. Most nights on my days off when i do bedtime, she goes to sleep like normal but wakes an hour later. Once I get her back to sleep, she wakes up 2-3 more times before going to sleep for the night. Could this be a form of separation anxiety? I would think it'd be worse on my work days since I only get to see her in the morning before I leave, and on my days off I'm home with her the entire day. I'm kind of at a loss with what might be going on!
