I have no idea what to do with a sleep regression, but if it is teething, my LO needed Advil to be able to go to sleep when teething.

If you think she is feeling better and given you have already sleep trained, I would just do it again and let her deal with it. 9.5-10 months was a bad time for us too and after consulting with HB we let her CIO through it because she was otherwise fine.

I think 9 months in fairly infamous for sleep regression :( my Los sleep was pretty awful at that point.

Coffee, lots of coffee is my recommendation. In seriousness, I wish I had advice. I got up with her 2-3x a night and sometimes got her bottles... probably should have let her CIO bit I tried and failed.

Tylenol helped for the teeth and did seem to improve her sleep. So did really wearing her out.

@ladybee: @Mrs. Oatmeal: darn!!!!! I'm hoping that it will sort itself out when she starts back at her sitter's next week with her being so tired from playing all day and stuff. I just hope we can survive it this week. I'm so ready to sleep in a bed for the whole night with just Dh and me!

Sounds like the regression to me. Sleep was CRAP around here at 9-10 months. Hope it sorts itself out soon - between teeth, illness, and sleep.

@singingbee: I did the same two weeks ago. I was so afraid of disrupting everyone else I woke up super fast and did whatever it took. That's probably part of our problem here too.

I forgot to add that she will be 10 months old on Friday. She crawls, pulls to stand, cruises around furniture, and just started letting go and trying to stand on her own.

@Smurfette: yes....it cleared up with the antibiotics. She woke up with a horrible fever, which is the only way we knew she had it. Once she started the antibiotics, she was great with the ear....then the teeth started.

@ladybee: I think that's what I need to do. We've been with family or on vacation, so I've just held her to avoid messing up everyone else's sleep, but mine has suffered.

We are kinda in the same boat. We used to be able to lay him down and he'd quietly talk till he was asleep. Now he cries and cries almost like throwing a fit. I just wait him out. We have gone from 0 wake ups from 7-7 to one from 7-8. We have four teeth too. If I were you I'd resist holding as much as possible. I'd hate to have to start all over again.

LO has been having trouble sleeping at night for the past few weeks. She had an ear infection and started having 4 teeth coming in. Right now one of them has cut through, but the others are still working their way down.

We went on vacation and she did fairly well. However the problem stems from her not wanting to fall asleep in crib anymore. If she wakes up in the middle of the night we have to hold her until she falls back to sleep, but when you try to put her down, she wakes up immediately.

We trained around 6 months and she was sleeping through the night. Should I just put her down and deal with it? Hold her and hope that she will get back to her usually sleeping schedule when school starts in a week.

Any advice?
