Yes! I had odd shooting pain from time to time. I have a low supply, so I figured it wasn't mastitis or a clog. I would massage and drink lots of water, and it always went away. Just keep an eye on it, and ensure you don't have a fever. What do your nipples look like? Any blanching? Cracks? Redness?

I'm back at work this week, so I'm pumping 5 times a day. For the past day or so, I've had a sort of shooting burning pain on one side of my breast (not really near the nipples). Not redness, no clog that I can feel. I don't have any other symptoms and neither does my 6 mo DS. Does this sound like thrush and I should call the doctor now? Or should I see if it resolves in a few days? I feel like it could just be weird pain from suddenly pumping so much and on high intensity to get enough milk.

Anything I can do in the meantime?
