@Jholler25: also there is a funny reflex where if they hit their foot a certain way it shakes. I though he was having little baby seizures in there but it was just a neurological reflex. Actually at 3 months old he still has that reflex!

@Running Elley: Haha! I think it was right at my belly button actually. I was laying down and staring at it and trying to figure out what the hell was going on, so I don't remember 100% but it seems like it was right in the middle?

@jholler25: LOL!!! Yes that sounds like hiccups!! Omg you crack me up. I had Josh feel hiccups and he was like “How do you know that’s hiccups??” He totally doubted me and was just picturing BB banging his head against me just like you were picturing haha. Definitely hiccups. BB gets them at least once a day! Where were you feeling the bangs? High or low?

@Running Elley: OMG! Hiccups must have been what I felt the other day! It was this steady jab-like stuff that made my belly move! It NEVER occurred to me that it was hiccups! I thought it was so weird and actually imagined her banging something around in there - but it was so rhythmic that I was freaked out! I imagined her having like, a twitch problem or something!!! Or like in the movie "The Change-Up" where that baby bangs his head on the crib. I imagined something like that. Duh!!!!

But it was pretty much right at my belly button I think...

I get the hard to breathe feeling when Im reading my ipad on my back. I have to prop myself up now. I bought the boppy pregnancy pillow Wed, and that has helped with the sleeping.

@jholler25 We havent seen baby in 7 weeks, so have booked a return visit to the elective place for Tuesday. It's only $39 if you are a returning customer during the week.

I had such severe abdominal pain (right by my gall bladder) that I went to the ER. It lasted from 22 weeks to delivery. It was suffocating when I was lying down. I hated being pregnant for exactly that reason. My LO was not breach then or when he was born. (He was breach only for a week after a car accident at 27 weeks.)
I know it was his feet because I measured the stretch from "feet to butt" (what I guessed was feet to butt) and correctly estimated his birth length.

@MamaMoose: Ha! Our guys’ hands are down there too. I’ll get little punches RIGHT next to my hip bone. I seriously don’t understand how he could “drop” any longer without dropping right out.

I've never felt the suffocating feeling before. Just my ribs. I do feel strange gurgling from all kinds of places that don't seem normal.

I can tell my guy is head down b/c I feel the hiccups low in my pelvis area. Doc confirmed this at my last appointment.

@Tidybee: @Running Elley: My lovely little bugger has his/her hands up by the face so I have constant pressure on the bladder and then every now and then I get a nice punch down there just for good measure. My husband and I were target one time and I got punched and had to stop and bend over to keep from peeing my pants. God, pregnancy is so sexy.

Like Elley said, I think it's more the butt and the general size of the uterus that is causing the cramped space in there.

@jholler25: I don't know for sure...I'm hoping the doc can tell me at my next appt next week (almost 35 weeks). But based on movement and limbs poking out, I'm pretty sure little Baguette is head down. I'm also not getting suddent kicks to the bladder, but more like general pressure (like from a head or larger mass).

@MamaMoose: Bahaha! But I saw on 'Pregnant in Heels' where one of the moms had chronic Vagina Bone pain and she even went to a chiropractor for it! She said he took a hammer/tool and banged on her Vagina Bone! I think Vagina Bones are real:)

My little one has been head down since 16 weeks and is pretty low. Some days I swear my vagina bone (which I know is not a real thing... I guess it's the front of my pelvic bone?) feels like it's splitting in two. At my last ultra sound the tech said to me "Wow, your baby's head is really low, that must be really uncomfortable for you." Why yes, yes it is, thanks for pointing it out!!!

I didn't have to add any extra pillows at night though. Mine was worse when I was sitting than lying for some reason. Side note - It makes sex all kinds of awesome too (sarcasm).

@highwire: Maybe that has something to do with it, on top of a 2.5lb baby in a basketball sized uterus laying on our diaphragms! I still get it laying on my sides too, which sucks. I basically have to sleep sitting up!
