We have a dog, but she just roams. We live on a dead end and everyone's dogs wander. She never goes more than 3 houses over, though. You do have to accept that everyone's dog will crap on your lawn if you live in here. Luckily we all have an acre+. We need to replace the picket part for more privacy and also to keep the deer out so we can actually grow a garden next year! Unfortunately, the fence really needs to be replaced so we're going to have to negotiate with the neighbors about replacing it. One neighboring house has a pool so they MUST have a fence, and we technically don't have to chip in for it, but that means we wouldn't have a say in how it looks. Not looking forward to the cost, but the fence is bad enough that it really needs to be replaced before DD is old enough to play in the backyard.
