My older LO is, who knows which side it came from. I've thought a bit about her being teased but I donno, there's always going to be something to be teased about. Even in preschool we've had talks already about what to do when someone doesn't like you or when somebody doesn't want to play with you. Hoping to reinforce the idea that not everyone has to like you. She's got a unique style in the way she dresses and so far she's been able to say 'oh well' and move on if someone doesn't like her outfit. Hoping the Freda unibrow comes back in style, or maybe she'll trailblaze that.

My son isn't hairy at all! He has barely any hair on him at all! I have a lot of hair (on my head lol), and my SO doesn't have any chest hair at all, just leg and pits. It'll be interesting to see how hairy our son will be!

I actually (superficially) worried about b/c I'm Italian and very hairy - w/dark hair. But M just has some blonde hair on her legs and arms since she's so light and fair.

@Anagram: I have a co-worker going through laser hair removal now and she said it is terribly painful. I see a lot of waxing or whatever other treatment it out there for our daughter as she gets older. I have never seen so much hair on a kid before! Our family members love to comment on it, too. :(

It's so strange for me because I have practically no hair on my body. My husband on the other hand...hair central.

Yes and it's dark hair so I am worried about her being teased. I'm fairly hairy, but it's blond so not really noticeable and DH's sisters are kinda hairy, so no telling which side it came from.

They are both very hairy! I'm sure they get their hairyness from both sides, but mine is blonde and much less visible than their black hair.

I dont worry about teasing too much, but I will help my girls remove hair whenever they notice it. I see no reason to make them be uncomfortable with their appearance o f there's something I can do to help. Same with acne treatment, if that comes up.

Did they get that from you or your SO? Are you worried that they will be teased about it when they go to school?
