It's annoying because I went to the centre Saturday morning and they told me there was space in the class and I just had to register online, so I did that and it said there was a wait list. We miraculously got DS into an in-home through a direct word-of-mouth referral from a friend at the beginning of this year, but that drama got us to really gear up the preschool for DS and daycare search for LO2. </p> <p>Currently, DS is on a waitlist for a 2's program at a local church preschool which they believe should be ready for him right when he turns 2 in September. The biggest issue is the infant toddler room at the same facility for DS2 due in May. We got him on the waitlist when I was 12 weeks pregnant and the earliest start date is mid-April of 2017, when he is 11 months old! Apparently the typical baby starts there super early and stays until they graduate to the 2's program so spots in the infant toddler room never open up early. I got him on the list when I was 6 weeks, which was almost a year ago! I really think we' re going to have to send him to another daycare until a spot opens up. Ugh!
