Nope. My parents have moved a few times since I graduated and moved out. They keep trying to get me to take all of my stuff, but we don't have space for it right now... So it sits in their storage area.

Haha yes it is still the same even though i haven't lived in the same city as my parents since I was 19 -- ten years ago! I actually still think it is super cool and I clean and organize it every Christmas when I go home to visit :)

Nope! When I moved out they changed it right away to an office/computer room! Like when I saw right away, I mean my stuff was still in there and they were already putting the computer desk together around all of the boxes!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: nice that they let you redecorate! My folks were always like "when we move we need the house in sellable condition" so I had white walls and art/bedspread/colors that my mom picked out in all 4 of my childhood rooms.

Mines the same. My parents moved into their house with plans of upgrading but loved the neighborhood so much they ended up staying there, so I was born and raised in that house. My room is all sorts of light pink, ballet shoes, and all things girly.

My parents have moved three times since I moved out, so NO! I moved a lot when I was little too, so I would consider the house i lived in during middle school to be my childhood bedroom.
My mom let me redecorate whenever I wanted.
When we moved in, I wanted it Western/Horses theme, so there was lots of horse and cowboy memorabilia.
Then, the next year, I wanted every wall a different color and I decorated with lots of flowers and bright colors.
The next year I thought I was "too mature" for that, so I painted one wall burnt orange and the rest cream, and I got a simple bed spread and put up lots of photos of my friends.
Man, I was such a weirdo!

Kind of... the paint color is the same, and the bedframe is there. It is my little sisters room now, and she has a different bookshelf, dresser, play kitchen and doll house. She is REALLY messy too.. so there are only a few things the same.

This was my room in high school - I loved it so much haha

LOL nope not at all. We moved a lot when I was a kid too, but like you @sweetchic: my parents bought a house when I was a senior in high school and have been there ever since (12 years now). But when I moved out I took my furniture. They basically use my old room as a storage area now. Their treadmill is in there, their records, and the overflow of stuff that they buy at Costco goes in there.

It's now my adopted sister's room and is kermit green. Lol. s
She is 13.

It was only my room for a matter of months before I left for college because they had just moved. DH's room is now his brother's room, but his furniture is still there in the "guest bedroom."

Not really! My family lived in the same house for 20 years. The rooms changed a lot, because we were constantly switching rooms when we needed to make room for another sibling (there are five of us). Then they changed because we were growing up.

I eventually landed in the attic, where I stayed for ten years. When I moved out, one of my younger sisters used my room, then my little brother. It's still painted in the colors I chose and has my curtains. And the tree my dad and I built around the chimney is still there. But everything else has been moved out/changed.

We moved a lot when I was a kid, so I was never in the same bedroom for more than 3 years. But my parents settled in the Chicago suburbs when I was in HS and have been in the same house since I was 17. I only had that room for a year and then I went off for college, but stayed there for breaks and also 2 years after college.

It still looks pretty much the way I left it, with the same furniture, books on book shelves, posters and photos, old memorabilia. I don't forsee my parents moving anytime soon, so I'll probably leave the room as-is for a while!!

What does your old bedroom look like?
