They do lots of holiday related activities/crafts, put up decorations, and do a performance, but they don't necessarily have a party. They've been doing Hanukkah and Christmas lessons, so they'll be some of those celebrations. It's a public day care, but we don't pretend that holidays don't exist at all. They pick a theme, and then on the last Friday of November, they stay open until 8, with special activities, costumes and dinner for the kids. They don’t do anything that is explicitly Christmas themed (so, no Santa, no nativity, no tree up, etc.). This mirrors the “celebration of the seasons” held in the summer.
