Yes, DH is much more diligent than I am when LO is sick. He's always touching her head to make sure she isn't burning up. He will bring her to our bed to keep an eye on her overnight.

Yes, and we usually argue because he says I'm too slow to notice signs! :-(

DH has been really good about noticing when LO is feeling warmer than usual. He will give LO medicine and keep track of the time for the next dose. He also calls the doctor.

Haha my Lo hasn't really been sick so DH hasnt has the opportunity to notice! I'm always at home with her too so I'm the first to notice something's off.

Wow.. my husband is usually pretty good. I think he's missing a bit of that momma instinct to know if her cry is a regular cry or a "I'm sick" cry. I just try to leave good instructions.

My biggest issue though is when he's home when she has a fever, he will hold her and let her sleep in his arms on the couch. I'm all for cuddling but when she has a fever the last thing she needs is body warmth.

DH drives me crazy in that he never notices if DD has a fever, or takes her temp, or gives her medicine, or thinks to take her to the doctor. ARGH!
