I love Dr.s who are able to do their job well but aren't so serious all the time. I miss my GP. He quit practicing because he had ethical issues with the way insurance was trying to do his job for him but before he left he was amazing! Seriously! It was like a short hang out session with a Dr. who could get serious when necessary, knew his stuff, and yet wasn't afraid to drop the F bomb or ask to take a picture of a rash that was seriously insane for his med students. (Yay weird placement of shingles rash on a 20 year old!!!) She acted like a friend, which I know other people don't like, but it was much less intimidating for me. For example- when we made the decision that I should stop working at 34 weeks, even though it wasn't bed rest (it was more of a preventative measure because I was flippin' HUGE), I told her I would need a letter from her, and that my insurance might cause a stink about it because it wasn't officially bed rest. She said, and I quote, "Oh, don't worry- I'm good at making shit up." DH thought it was hilarious and he is also calling me "Mama" and "Girlfriend" today. </p>
