He probably does a bit more laundry than me, but lately I have been doing more of it. That's because I have been working from home a lot since my due date is so close, plus I have wanted to clean the baby clothes!</p> <p>I crunch the numbers and handle the budget. I also manage our calendar and logistics and do a majority of our planning (e.g., booking vacations).</p> <p>I think he puts more time into the house than I do, but we both work full time jobs and if it were up to me we would outsource more household responsibilities (e.g., hire a cleaning lady). Since he doesn't want to do that, he picks up the slack. We went to a marriage conference not long ago and it was funny when they were talking about differences between males and females, and I identified more with the male personality traits! One that stuck out was that DH thinks and processes things out loud, and likes to talk/discuss. Although I am a conversationalist - I like to process quietly, and think to myself before opening up. They said that processing quietly is more a male trait and thinking out loud is more female.</p> <p>That's just one, but there are more ways too.</p> <p>In terms of stereotypical "roles", he is better at keeping house and even doing one-on-one play with J.
