She loves princess Sophia especially. She is obsessed with most princess things. She is also a baby doll lover, so I'm not really surprised.

Yep, she loves Princess Sofia, and has a dress she puts on as soon as she gets home and we watch her every day. She also loves Frozen and Rapunzel (she's into the "new princesses") not the classics that I like! ha

Oh gosh yes, we just go with it. C fits into M's Ariel dress now, so she's becoming obsessed now too.

She is, we've embraced it for the most part. We don't have a tv so she just watches a Disney movie occasionally. Her first word was shoe and loves sparkles and all things stories and pretend. We try and make sure to tell the stories in a way that the princesses are more take charge and use their big muscles more. I do worry in the future what influence advertising and bad shows will have on her but that's part of why we don't have a tv so we can control some of that. but sparkles and stories are just in good fun, I don't think its the same as child beauty pageants.

Yes. Oh man, yes. We just go with it. She's allowed to like what she likes.

I feel like as long as the princess stuff is balanced with other likes (she loves tools and trucks right now too), I don't think it's a problem.

We are in between.

DD is 2 and not super into it but we've attended a few princess parties and she is happy to participate. She has a couple dress-up princess outfits at home and some days she enjoys donning the dresses/crowns, but she is more into taking care of her baby dolls and building towers/castles. She barely gets any screen time and when she does, it's usually PBS stuff so she doesn't know all that much about the Disney princesses besides Frozen (learned from school). I do love that I can tell her to give me a "princess smile" and she listens for photos! If I tell her to say "cheese" she goes overboard and squints like crazy haha.

Not sure what happened, but my 3-year-old daughter has become obsessed with princesses! I tried to fight it for a while, but now I've moved to the acceptance phase. I heard that the book "Cinderella Ate My Daughter" is supposed to be good on the subject, so I just got a copy:

http://www.amazon.com/Cinderella-Ate-Daughter-Dispatches-Girlie-Girl-ebook/dp/B004DI7M2Y/

Is your kid super into princesses? Are you fighting it, or embracing it - or something in between...
