Ellie, big no. Lorelei, big yes. Last summer Lorelei started scaling the ladder on one of our 40-foot-high grain bins. She was about 14 months and I didn't know she could climb ladders. She got pretty high before I noticed because I was watching Ellie ride her bike.

Yep! Out of the pack and play, out of the crib, onto the dining room table where she throws everything off it over her shoulder, into the sand box at playgroup last week, ha ha. Everyone always looks at me like I'm crazy when I don't immediately rush over or panic but she's the best climber I know.

Yep! She loves climbing on the coffee table, her anywhere chair onto the couch, her outside picnic table, and all the gym stuff at day care.

Yes! He's not even walking yet, and he climbs on top of everything he can get a leg up on.

Our eldest son sure loves to climb! He climbs up on everything he can (monkey bars, trees, etc.), and is constantly asking me to help him get higher. Sometimes he says he is scared and asks me to help him down... but other times, he overcomes his fear and just keeps climbing!

I do my best not to helicopter over him when he climbs... it's getting easier as he gets older and more coordinated. We may take him to a climbing program later this summer... he's been climbing twice (for free at local street festivals) and loved it each time!
