My son has loved solids since we started them at 4 months. We didn't really give him finger foods consistently til about 7-8 months. He loves feeding himself but doesn't get much in his mouth (still, at 9 months).

DS has loved food from an early age. Around 4 months he'd cry if I ate in front of him going "mmm-mmmm!", haha.. I was hesistant to start solids but..
Now he's 14 months old and still LOVES to eat. He's never cared much for liquids, I have to force it on him. But he'll eat anything and a lot of it. Since he's still 10th percentile for weight, our pediatrician just says to let the boy eat!

That's great! DD is almost 13 months and she is usually a great eater and will try everything we put in front of her. But this past week she's been testing us and refusing a lot of food, but I think it's because she's catching a cold.

M is 9.5 months and is the same way. She has had anything from smoked salmon to hummus to pork chops. Likes it all from the get go except bananas until the 4th try.

She's had asian, italian, vietnamese, middle eastern, etc etc. My plan is to keep doing what we're doing. Keep offering and giving her choices!

My son was a GREAT eater. He used to eat everything i gave him. All kinds of veggies, fruits, proteins....anything. It was great. And then shortly after he turned 2, he started slowly rejecting certain goods he used to love. Peas..yuck. Green beans..yuck. Carrots. yuck yuck yuck. Now he's 3 years old and hates veggies! Grrrrr. He'll still eat all kinds of fruits and likes fish/chicken. But he won't go anywhere near his veggies. I have to hide them in his yogurt smoothies. I still offer him veggies at every meal but he doesn't touch them at all. :( I hope your son continues to be a great eater!!!!

My LO is 10 months and LOVES food. He will eat anything, he's such a good eater. I'm just curious if he will always be this way or once he gets older he will get pickier?

When did they start becoming a bad eater, if they were previously a good eater?
