Measuring is his favorite, although he's pretty sure he needs to measure the whole spice container or sugar container each time. I've caught him spraying the kitchen tile with a water bottle and scrubbing with my nice face washcloths from the bathroom. Sigh.</p> <p>He doesn't quite have the hot=danger part down yet, so he loves to pull the chair over to the stove when I'm cooking dinner. She does similar tasks as your LO and also measures out everything in measuring cups. Recently I walked into her classroom for pick up and she was scrubbing the snack tables while the other kids all played. Her teacher was like "she wanted to!" when I looked surprised, lol! She wants to do everything but wants nothing to do with the stove (it's hot!) So, she puts out silverware (counts the proper number), gets her milk out of the fridge, pours with help, sets napkins and plates if I hand them to her. She will crack eggs and open bags for me. She's actually pretty helpful, until she drops the big jug of lemonade all of the fridge because it was too heavy...and it doesn't have a cap on it. </p>
