My 2yo has been nervous about bugs for a little while now but today was really bad. She was playing happily in her crib after nap and suddenly starts crying. I run in and there is a pincher bug(earwig) crawling on her toy. I picked her up and she was shaking and sobbing uncontrollably; so terrified! Then through tears she manages to say "I see his eyes!" Agh sounds so nightmarish! Did your LOs grow out of their fear?? Ladybugs are their favorite right now, but they like to look at ants, butterflies, and spiders, too. They sometimes get startled when they start to move in their direction, though.
