The holidays really threw him off his schedule. That combined with all this new independence is making him needy for us at night. He wakes frequently (4-8x per night) and screams for us until we come him. In the last couple of weeks, we've (either DH or me) spent 3 with him in the spare bedroom, and more than a few lying on the floor with him either in his bed or on the floor next to one of us. I know it's a phase, and we are trying to wait it out; meanwhile, we are encouraging him to go to sleep in his bed and stay there. But OMG, it's hard.
