She will play with her toys for about 10 mins if I sit next to her. Like she was never the type to play with a few toys in a pack n play so I could shower. Cobi is just about 8 months old and he is pretty good about playing on his own but only for short spurts of time. Usually at least 10 minutes but never more than 20, maybe 25. I have to change up the toys/scenery. Sometimes he just wants to be held, even if we aren't doing "anything". I tell DH he has a quota for being held haha if he meets that quote of snuggle/close/quality time, then he is normally a lot more likely to play on his own for awhile. DD is getting better recently b/c she has become mobile. She still doesn't crawl, but she can get around a room pretty efficiently by rolling. That means that she can go get a toy that she wants, or move on to another area when she gets bored. It really helps with her ability to entertain herself.
