Sleepsacks are part of our routine, so I would hate not to start using one in the summer, but I am undecided on which one...right now we're using the Halo fleece early walkers and we love them. I suppose I could get the mesh ones, but I don't know anyone that's used them.

We don't have A/C, it doesn't get that humid or hot where we live.

It isn't summer yet but my LO sometimes wears a light muslin Aden & Anais sleep sack to bed. I am planning on buying another for summer time!

Thanks ladies! Yeah, I'll pick up some cotton sacks for her. It just gives me a piece of mind when temperatures fluctuate, knowing that she has some kind of covering.

We do a sleepsack no matter what. Summer: cotton sleepsack, short sleeved onesie, no pants. Winter: fleece sleepsack, footed long sleeve pajamas. Since he's getting too long for his halo sleepsacks I bought some aden & anais muslin sleepsacks for this summer, and I just bought some short sleeved short pants pajamas since onesies only go up to 24 months (he's 2 years 4 months).

We have three types of sleep sacks.. cotton, velboa, and fleece. He's usually in cotton PJ's during the night and depending on how cold I think it's going to be, I switch between all three sacks. (Even though we have the furnace on at 73 every day, his room has a big window, so sometimes the temp in his room is different than the rest of our condo).

So, during the winter it's cotton pjs plus either the velboa or fleece. (We use the velboa more than the fleece)

In the summer, its just a onesie (long sleeve for night, short sleeve for daytime naps) and a cotton sleepsack.

Our winter sleep sack is too warm PLUS LO just outgrew hers. I ordered a cotton halo sack the other day. It should be here tomorrow or Wednesday!
I would definitely buy a summer sack. I found that even on warm nights, LO can get cold in the middle of the night. Even when I put her in long sleeves and pants.

My son didn't wear a sleep sack during the summer months when he was in his sleep sack phase. It's been too warm for the winter sleep sack so last night and for naps today, I didn't put my daughter in her sack. It took her almost an hour to finally fall asleep during both her naps. I wonder if not having a sleep sack has to do with it. I wonder if I need to get her a light sleep sack for the summer.
