No. I'm the preferred parent most of the time, and he's definitely "meanest" to daddy (he'll say he wants me to do things, etc.) But he's not trying to be mean, he just wants me. He is, however, whiniest with me.

DD is 3 and she's just different. With DH she misbehaves more because she knows she can get away with it with him more. And I think with me there's just more tantrums. She hasn't really said anything mean towards us yet.

Nope. I am the preferred parent and he's usually super sweet and loving to me, but he can be so mean to DH. It breaks my heart and I don't know how to fix it!

Yes – but she is also most loving to the preferred parent (me). I get both ends of the extremes!

I would say DD1 is usually most mean to me, but I she changes weekly on who her preferred parent is! When I ask her to do something she will yell "I'm TALKING TO DADDY!" She's almost 3 and definitely acting like a threeanger lately. I'm having to take a lot of deep breaths over here! ha

DD is sometimes mean to DH, although she prefers me. Even when I'm the one disciplining her and she starts crying, she wants me to hug her after. She doesn't do it in a nice way either  I honestly think it's because he doesn't stick up for himself. He's such a pushover and she knows there's no consequence. But she's also 3 and so it can be anything.

My older daughter is only 2.5, so she's still pretty young and sweet! She's never really been mean to me and I am definitely the preferred parent. She hurts my husband's feelings a lot by saying that only mommy can do a lot of things. For instance. If he says, "I'm going to help you get dressed," she might respond, "No! I want mommy to do it." She does stuff like that all the time and some days it really makes me husband feel bad :( I don't think she realizes it's hurtful though.

For my son, the answer is definitely yes! He even confirmed it this past weekend... but said he's not sure why he does it.

For my daughter, the answer is no... mostly because she's still young and sweet and is almost never mean. Hope that never changes!!
