The blender terrifies the six month old and the two year old equally. Neither of them will listen to reason.

And does a blow dryer count as an appliance??

E was sitting near my feet in the bathroom when I started to dry my hair and completely flipped out. Like big, fat tears hysterics. Stood up and started pulling at my skirt screaming. He didn't stop until I turned it off and picked him up. I ended up half-assed drying my hair while holding him. He stopped crying but was shaking the whole time--even when I showed him that it was just (cool) air that wouldn't hurt him.

It was so strange because he normally LOVES it when I dry my hair! He usually giggles, and I playfully "shoot" him with low, cool air and he thinks it's hysterical.

Is your LO scared of any appliances?
