@808love: that Christmas dress sounds adorable! It's still too hot in Florida for baby legs. But I do love having her cloth diapers to spice things up. Every diaper change is like a whole outfit change!

I was blessed with trendy shower gifts and amazing hand me downs. I sorted through and picked all the best of the best stuff from the hand me downs and kept it. Yes, we only put her in the same comfy easy ones over and over again but there's still quite a selection. And she has the cutest party dresses so 'when it counts' she's very stylish, to me. I've only chosen/bought her 2 or 3 things myself and I bought it with style in mind. I am lazy to dress her up everyday so what she wears can get kinda boring. My husband is style conscious so when baby was growing long instead of wide and was wearing the same stuff for 6 months straight, he was like, "Isn't there anything else for her to wear?" Seriously...we got all this great stuff for free.
Tonight she wore a Ralph Lauren velvet Christmas dress I got from a Thredup package.

Have you tried BabyLegs to spice up the onesies? If you sew...you could just cut some girls knee socks and sew the edges.

Mine's pretty stylish. She wears a lot of Carters, Gymboree and Old Navy and I always tailor it to her since she's so thin - she's now too long for most 0-3 month stuff at 3 months, but too thin for 3-6 months so I have to sew seams up the sides! It works pretty well though, and I think she looks cute.

She has a pair of Carters jeans and they are so adorable. I stick her in those and a onesie and Carters hoodie jacket pretty often to go running around. People always say she looks cute!

She's super stylish. We told everyone we were having a girl when I was pregnant and we got so many cute clothes as gifts. Ive never been stylish but I get irritated when I cant match her diaper to her outfit. She gets lots of comments on her little outfits from strangers.

My daughter is very stylish. My younger sister and my mother always shop at GAP and Gymboree for her. I use to, but now I go to The Children's Place. She is really particular about her clothes on the days she goes to school. She doesn't like her hair being out of place and she will tell you in a hot second if something doesn't match.
Because of my little sister and mother, she has more shoes and purses than I do, but what can you do? My mother only has two grandchildren. My nephew is 20, so she spoils my daughter now. My younger sister lives at home and has money to burn so who am I to stop her?
She has a pair of boots that I wish came in my size!

When my DD's were babies I did do a lot of 'dressing up'. I was also really young when my oldest was a baby( I was only 20). With my youngest(I was 25) I didn't spend as much time with the cute stuff and did more comfort clothes.
I think once we have the last one I will do mostly comfort except for special occasions or outings.
The older I get the less energy I have for that lol

Yes and no. Yes in that they already have more designer clothes than I do! (Thanks to gifts and hand-me-downs.) But no in that most of the time, I dress them in onesies and sleepers since they are easier to deal with, and generally more comfortable.

Yes. He's always super cute. However, we are the type of people that are always dressed nicely so it would be strange for him not to be as well. As he's gotten older he's really opinionated and he chooses his clothes. He's currently obsessed with "diamond shirts" (argyle)

Not so much when she was 1-4 months since it was cold and she was bundled in sleep 'n plays 99% of the time but when she started to wear 6 mos clothes (at 5 mos), she was pretty stylish. No hair bands and or accessories, just comfortable cute outfits and socks that look like shoes. I loved putting her in cute summer dresses but now that it's winter, we stick to warm tops, leggings, and legwarmers. I recently bought some skinny jean leggings for her that are uber-cute and soooo comfortable - I wish I had a pair, lol.

The cute clothes, however, is reserved for when we actually go out. At home, she's in pjs, comfy sweatpants and onsies.

Before I had my baby girl I thought I'd be dressing her up in the cutest outfits all the time. Now that she's here... not so much.

1. I didn't pick out any of her clothes because they're all gifts and hand me downs. Not that she doesn't have some very cute clothes.... just not in all sizes and seasons.
2. I go more for comfort and convenience than style. So she's more likely to be in a onesie than a frilly little dress.
3. I tend to put her in whatever is on top of the drawer. It's just easier.
4. My hubby is color blind. So if he's dressing her... there's just no hope.

I'm assuming when she grows up a little we'll have more fun with the girly clothes. But for now, boring onesies will have to do.
