No, not rewearable, but I got them both from consignment stores and spent about $10 total on both so I don't feel bad.

Baby will be a skeleton and he's been wearing those pajamas for a couple of months now. :) Toddler I think is going to be a doctor- so yes, reusing white shirt etc. Definitely trying to avoid buying costumes as long as we can.

Yes, ds's costume will be wearable again. I bought a lion jacket for him at the beginning of my pregnancy from Gilt. He can finally fit into it. He can wear the jacket later on. I'm pairing it with yellow pants from H&M.

My mom used to make all our Halloween costumes so when we were visiting LO tried some on and picked out her favorite. It's not really rewearable for everyday but it's homemade and been through several kids.

Yep. I always get DS rewearable costumes, because he likes to be a super hero more than once a year. He got a Wolverine costume for this year and has already worn it about 6 times, lol.

She is wearing a Wonder Woman outfit I made for a birthday party to day care. Using some tights I bought for Christmas instead of buying pants. Then is going to be the Carter's Strawberry that night for the neighborhood party. It has a long long sleeved shirt and green tights, so can wear those again this winter.

@oliviaoblivia: Those are WAY too cute!!! <3 <3

Well, I'm making her a tutu as big as will stay on (not stretched at all) in hopes that she can wear it for something else in the future. The wings are pretty big so she will be able to wear them for a long time (I'm having to pin the elastic arm straps quite a bit!). Other than that it's just a white onesie and a headband.

I really hopes she likes playing dress-up!

I'm DIYing a Pebbles Flintstone costume. It's basically just a bunch of animal print stuff I found at our baby consignment shop.
$10 total. Though she doesn't usually wear much animal print.

Because she freaking loves Minnie Mouse, I am sure that she will wear it again to play dress up. But, I didn't buy it with the intention of wearing it too much. DH said "It's a halloween costume, she doesn't need to have it forever. Get the cheap quality one that she will LOVE".

I really didn't want to spend much on her costume so I was racking my brain for a cheap DIY that would work for my baldy toddler. ;)

I finally decided on little red riding hood! She doesn't mind hoods and I thought it would cover her head and keep her warm. Our first snowfall is usually around Halloween.

I bought a red cord dress / jumper off a resale group for $2. A pair of black flat with bows for $3.
@sarbear 's sister was nice enough to give me her daughter's red cape.
I have white tights and a white long sleeved onesie already.

Total cost: $5! And rewearable. Not bad.

Anyone else putting LO in a rewearable costume?
