It used to be easy but it is getting harder and harder. It is definitely so much easier without them. I notice a lot of moms sippin their coffees and strolling the grocery stores aisles in a very leisurely manner on the weekends, sans kids. Their hubbies must be watching the kids and that is their "alone" time and they are totally milking it. Love it!

my trick is... go after he goes to bed, without him!! Haha. RJ likes the carts that have the cars in front so he can pretend like he's driving... but even with those he still gets antsy and bored. I now completely understand why the deli and bakery counters give out slices of cheese and chocolate chip cookies. Still, I prefer to do a quick in and out without RJ.

If so, what's your secret... because Charlie can be a monster!

He demands to eat his favorite foods as I buy them, especially olives. And he likes to touch a lot of the food too, which is tough to police.

Wondering if other parents wrestle with this one, or if it's just me. And if you do, what are your grocery shopping tricks?
