Yes, but now that she's at a new daycare and their breakfast is an hour earlier than at her old one, that's going to have to change. In order to get there on time for breakfast, I'll have to get up to shower and dress before DD gets up.

DD is! She's definitely a lark. Up at 6:30 with a big smile on her face, which is rather sweet now that I've gotten used to the early hours. DS now, we need to wake him up with much wailing, except on weekends, when he's somehow up at the crack of dawn.

Yes, lo and my bladder now that I'm pregnant  I'm in general not a good sleeper though but it would be nice to roll around in bed for a while longer without someone screaming for a banana!

LO1 slept until 7:20 am the other morning and DH and I had to rush around like crazy to get out of the house on time. He ALWAYS wakes up super early (5-6am). It was so nice to sleep in.

I get up earlier than them. I need time to myself. Then we wake everyone up so that i can keep them on schedule and in need early for the night. Usually my toddler is awake, just still in bed.

We set our sons "okay to wake" clock to 6:10am and about once a week both boys make it that late. They are both early risers by nature and LOVE to get up at 5:30am no matter what we try.

DD wakes up at about 7:15- 7:30 and comes to get us. DH and I just recently decided that we are going to start setting an alarm for 6:30 so we can get coffee going and grab a shower before she wakes up. We have lots of early morning activities and doctor's appointments for the fall and I want to get a good routine set before baby #2 arrives!

Usually, but at, like, 5:45. I'm pretty much awake by 6:30 if left to my own devices, but the boys rarely make it that late.

Over the past couple months DD has finally started sleeping in the mornings!  She still wakes up like 10-20 minutes after us most days, but at least I've gotten my shower out of the way! I really, really hope this lasts.

@oliviaoblivia: me too! DD2 still needs 2 naps a day but I usually cut her first nap short everyday so she will go down at 1 when big sister goes down. I need 2 hours of quiet. lol
@My Only Sunshine: haha. Sounds like something I would do.

The other day my alarm woke me up and it had been so long since I heard it that I didn't recognize the sound! I thought one of DD's toys had turned on and was playing music. So... yes, my kids are my alarm clock.

That's so cute!

Mine wake me up. When it was just one I'd get up earlier and have a coffee in peace. Now if one is awake I pretty much get everyone up so we stay on schedule. If their afternoon naps don't sync I'm cranky.

Even before kids I generally would get up before 7am unless I absolutely had to (which I generally did for work but I didn't like it! lol). My girls are usually up between 630 and 7 so I'm rarely up before them. DD1 is so used to waking up that yesterday, when she came to my room to discover that I was already up and in the shower she said, "Mommy, you're up! *giggles* *smiles* *sudden serious face* "You don't get out of bed until I come to get you!" Complete with finger wagging lol

Does your LO usually wake you up?
