But she actually uses it a lot. Ours has a whiteboard/ magnetic side wth letters and chalk side. We don't want chalk in the living room so I just put paper up for her to use crayons on it. But it goes right in the middle of our living room since it's the only open space we have. MIL got LO the Melissa &amp; Doug easel with paint, paint brushes, etc. I feel like art is better on a table or on the patio but she really wanted to get her an easel... we'll see! I hope this will change when DD2 is old enough to be more trustworthy around art supplies. If it were only DD1 (3.5 yrs), I'd leave it out in our living room with crayons and markers, and take out paint/other materials for special days.
