The nursery is combined with our office, and it does both jobs pretty well. It isn't your typical nursery, so most probably wouldn't like it but it suits us well and I am happy when I am in there. The nursery is something we'll be working on over time, as we get used to baby/co-sleeping/BFing/a new routine. We didn't even get a crib until last week! And I can't say I've been aiming for "pretty" so much as "fun/child-friendly." I want a room that will be toddler appropriate, DH wants a room that will stimulate baby's brain. I'm not a decorator at all, and we moved during both pregnancies, so I just never got around to doing anything with the nurseries. I wish I had, but just wasn't top priority. Eventually though she moved into Charlie's room and I think it's a decent mix of pretty and functional. It will have to do, until we can find a recliner that is both pretty and functional!!
