If I try to make him cuddle, he's all like "NOOO! YOU'RE SMOTHERING ME AND I CAN'T BREATHE OH KITTY ABUSE AAGH!" and then three minutes later he'll hop back up on the couch and take up residence on my tummy. And heaven forbid I do something like breathe or move my foot or something because the first rule of cuddling the cat is YOU DON'T DISTURB THE CAT. He will sometimes cuddle with DH but I get probably 80% of the loving. I would lay on the couch to pet him.... and he would nip at me if I did it too much because he would get annoyed. </p> <p>My new pup is the exact opposite. She loves to cuddle and be petted. Most of all she love love loves belly rubs.
