I started using Google Drive to back up all my photos on my phone. It's amazingg! There is a google photos app. You back it all up from your phone and then the app makes it so easy to delete backed up copies from your phone that are older than 30 days. You can still access all the pics from your phone - but just through the Google photos app instead of your camera roll.
