I'd say he's probably closer to his mom. His dad calls more often, and his mom asks me why he hasn't called. They talk frequently, she calls A LOT. If there is a disagreement, he will side with his mother over his father. DH is definitely closer to his Mom and they talk almost everyday and see each other 1-2 times a week. DH talks to his Dad maybe 1-2 times every two weeks and sees him about once a month. His dad isn't much of a talker and likes to watch TV and drink beer alone.
