Because he would hold that last piece of just about any meal for hours. She picks her one thing she likes and holds it while she plays. She very much favors things that are red or orange. She also loves the letter "I"...so she clutches her red letter I puzzle piece while playing. She does this everywhere we go and always with something in both hands. Tonight she was carrying around oranges she begged for (pointed at and whined) from the fruit bowl.
