Right now he has been a fan of clutching onto a shovel or any toy that can allow him to dig in the snow every time we leave the house.

When my son was 18 months old you would have thought we never fed him. Because he would hold that last piece of just about any meal for hours. He did get over it eventually because he doesn't do it anymore at almost 3 but I'm not sure when it stopped.

Yes! She picks her one thing she likes and holds it while she plays. She very much favors things that are red or orange. She also loves the letter "I"...so she clutches her red letter I puzzle piece while playing. She's done this since she was super little...now that she's 2 she doesn't do it as much

Yes, constantly! She does this everywhere we go and always with something in both hands. Tonight she was carrying around oranges she begged for (pointed at and whined) from the fruit bowl. She loves doing this with books, stuffed animals, coasters, etc. Lately she tries to hold more than one thing in each hand.

Yeah a little bit. She likes to grab a onesie or a book. She also really likes sticking stuff in her mouth and walking around. Makes me so nervous!

Yes! Usually something totally random like a flashlight, a remote, or one of my pony tail holders. I think it's funny that her random items are rarely something more "normal" like a doll or a stuffed animal.

My son loves to run around clutching something. Sometimes it's a piece of chalk, a leggo, or toy car and very often it's good like a piece of bagel. Does anyone else have a LO who does this?
