Yes, very active! Unless there's food in front of her, she's running around.

I think some of it depends on individual personality. DS is somewhat reserved in new situations so he waits until he is comfortable before he ventures out, even if he is curious about something, he'll wait until he is ready to approach. I wish he were more adventuresome sometimes. I would try not to worry about it and encourage the curiosity and outgoing nature of your LO.

I think that is the toddler MO. A short attention span is normal at this age. My LO is 16 months and is pretty active, although she will often sit through most of a book and occasionally through a few repetitions before she moves on. There are times of the day when she can focus like that, or on something new, and other times when she wanders from thing to thing or destruction project to destruction project with no attention. I would not worry about ADHD for another 6-7 years!

My 13.5 month old is SO active. She won't sit still for more than a minute before she's off to check out something else. She's constantly moving and on the go. She is super curious about everything too. I know it too early to worry about ADHD but I can't help it - whn I see other babies her age, they seem so much more still!!

Anyone else have a super active, on the go baby?? Sometimes I feel like this is why she's not gaining any weight!
