@Lemondrop Thanks for your input. I might try that and stay near her crib, so I can pat/shush her back to sleep. I'm willing to try anything at this point!

My 17 month old does too, this week I've had to watch the clock and at the 30 minute mark make sure I am near the crib so I can turn on Scout's music and pat C's back to get him back down when he does stir. We've actually been working to break his swing during naps habit, so I'm pretty thrilled at this point.

@mamabehr I'm sorry you're in a similar situation, but glad to know I'm not alone! It's so strange how they wake up like clockwork after a certain amount of time. I'm hoping it's a phase that will pass soon?

My 16 month old is doing something similar. He wakes up after an hour and half, no matter what! I know he is still sleepy and sometimes I can get him to go back to sleep, but that is rare. He still wants the morning nap, but I don't let him because we are too busy for it. I have no ideas or recommendations, just commiseration.

DD is 17 months old and transitioned over to 1 nap a day at 15 months. She's never been a great napper and is a pretty sensitive sleeper overall. When we first made the transition, she would sleep anywhere from 2-3 hours, which was great.

Lately, she has been waking up 25-30 minutes into her nap. Sometimes, she will cry for about 5 minutes and then go back to sleep, but other times she will stay awake, so I'll just end up getting her. I can tell she's still tired, so I'll try and put her down for a second nap in the afternoon (which works about half the time)

This has been happening everyday for the past 3 weeks. Right at the 30 minute mark, she will wake up crying. I'm not sure what's causing it, but it's becoming difficult to handle because the lack of sleep causes her to be cranky the rest of the day. I've tried putting her down for her nap at different times, but nothing seems to change her waking up after 30 minutes.

Has this or anything similar happened to anyone on here? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
