I went to Syracuse University (graduated in 2005) and when I graduated, it was up to 52K a year. Whats it going to be when my kids are college aged? There needs to be SOMETHING done. The demographics of Gen Y have increased the number of students applying for college, plus college is becoming increasingly mandatory when applying for good jobs.</p> <p>Anyway lots of people point out the (horrible) problems with the spiraling cost of college... but I haven't seen many people propose solutions. I'm not really sure what can be done... it just feels like the system is broken/sick.</p> <p>What do you guys think should be done about the growing cost of college? Any ideas on how to fix this? </p>
