<description>&#60;p&#62;I'd say it's thrush. We got it at ten days old and at one month old. A vinegar/water solution on your nipples will help, and my midwife gave me a prescription for diflucan. You will probably need to treat LO too so you don't pass it back and forth.

<description>&#60;p&#62;If my nipples are itchy, is it automatically thrush?  I've been on antibiotics for 10 days because of strep, and I've been super worried about catching it.  But I've also been taking probiotics and letting my nipples air-dry between feedings, or as much as I can with them leaking everywhere.  They're not really shiny, but they are red.  Thoughts?  LO is 11 days old, and I really hope that's not what we're dealing with...
