Benadryl won't touch the itch. Best things are topical such as calamine lotion (old school) or there is one spray on anti itch I love but don't remember the name. I sometimes use vinegar because it is available. Zyrtec can be used for skin allergies but I have low blood pressure and it just makes me feel drunk so I can't take it.</p> <p>Good luck, itching sucks. Remember it cousins be worse. Have a small heat-rash type thing on my neck and a flushed area on one cheek. The cheek doesn't itch but the neck does. I've broken down and started taking Benadryl to combat the itch, but it barely helps. :bummed: </p>
