@FutureMrsMcK: lol aww

Last night, I tucked DS into bed at 7:30...he stayed up until midnight (mainly because he was scared of they dark) I did everything to get him to fall asleep! He's 4! Sleepless nights never end. He ended up getting in my bed and waking up at 5am :(

I'm putting DS down now an hour after his bedtime. Not a huge deal but he woke up 30 mins early from his last nap. So he has been up for 5.5 hours. My MIL was over watching him while DH and I went to dinner and she stayed a while after playing with him. He wasn't fussy at all, just wanted to keep playing with grandma!

Hopefully they both fall asleep soon!

I put him down at 9:30...he's been rolling around his crib, playing with his giraffe, chewing on his blanket, not crying but definitely not sleeping.

I went in a minute ago and pulled his paci out from under the crib and he didn't whine at me for leaving at all...he's back to rolling around. I really hope he falls asleep soon, I really want a margarita and have to wait until he's out of the night...

Anyone else's LO still up long after their bedtime? Do you ever take them out of the crib for a while at any point? He's pretty chill, so I'm leaving him be for now...
